any info on this boat?

hi,

does anyone know anything about a ring20 called 'just a mirage' known previously as 'asitic' on guernsey

was owned from new by andy priaulx and his brother (and from articles i read on andy possibly raced)
i now have this hull and am thinking of setting it up to race in place of my 'the magician' ring 18

have been told a few stories that it was laid up as a light weight hull but has had repairs over the years. iv looked closely at the hull and it seems to be in v good condition with no indications of any major repair.

if anyone knows anythin about this boat i would be interested to know.

I'll ask my dad about it, he used to do a lot of fibreglass work for the Priaulx's hillclimb cars and Graham's boats, so chances are he'll know it. I remember it from when a was a kid, I've killed a lot of braincells since then though so don't know any details!

on the same theme, what about R21's: Positive GII, Professional III and R20's of past years, where are these now? I see Tickled Pink is being restored and Scruffy Yuppy keeps reappearing. Does anyone know where these are?

Whatcha, I have the Yuppster! Not sure what I am going to do with her? Had her up for sale at the beginning of the year, but I have not been able to find the right boat yet and after the last couple of races I am now getting very tempted to invest in a new motor and to sort her out?!! Saying that everything is for sale at the right price......

I sold tickled pink about a year ago to a couple of guys who work at Boatworks+...

They seem to have slowed down with the work on it at the moment, I think they had brought another boat as a donor for the engine etc. Nice to see the pink on the sides again!

Had a few owners that boat, Brian le Moignan years ago and more recently Richard Le Podevin who used to work at project, i think he did a few repairs

Jeff Fox is Foxy's brother.
Funny enough he last raced the Crusher Destroyer project thirteen odd years ago with a 225 Yam and a 26 QSS-old Skool
Before you get onto it I know I spelt Skool wrong Andy but done for impact.

By anychance was the name changed to geronimo? As me and my brother barrel rolled his yellow r20 bout 6 years ago, ripped the top deck off and the side of the hull was ripped open from bow to stern.

No worries RE the spelling... I'd have also accepted - Skule / Scool or Schule

Is Foxy number 2 going to try and race this season then? Would like to see how it goes
