Think it is Sam Robinson - used to race OCR and now does OOD work for them?

Just looked at the website - another splashing classic with comments such as:

"Marina 20, again this used to be the ring 20 but has been modified with the rounded bow."

as if the rounded bow makes it all OK!

I'm sure he's a nice bloke, just don't approve of his business ethics! The genuine moulds were for sale a while ago, so he could have bought them, but chose to go the cheaper route, save some money and build an inferior product!

I just feel it cheapens the brand, and it's unfair cos less knowledgable punters are gonna assume it's the genuine article and will think Mike built a crap boat!

Gezus ,,,,, if you compare that to the RHIB that Clive Jones built around the Phantom 16, it would not even get on the starting grid!

Again, the important common factor with these wankers, is the claim that the changes, in this case, a rounded bow, is the 'new improved' version of the original!

Anyway, I expect the 'rounded bow' is all about getting the splashed (and smaller) deck to fit the hull, and wasn't an intended mod, rather something he had to do to get this abortion into one piece.

So,

Leeway Composites

Robinson marine

Raffshore

Chaudron

Who else?

To be fair this might be a legitimate boat or boats - we shouldn't hang a man without hearing his side!!!!!

Anyway I can recomend a better tube guy!

ps. Did anyone see which CE / RCD category the boats are? Couldn't see any mention of it on the site?
