Mmm. If you want a formula theres an old 302 sr1 for sale at port solent - carly baby knows a bit about it. But it'd definately be a start from scratch project.

Mine is a 1989 292 sr1, with a pair of 330hp big blocks in. It does just a little bit over 60mph. My one will be for sale when it's finished cos I need to go racing.

They're a very soft ride, good size cabin for overnighting, cludger for yer missus to use, decent bathing platforms & sundecks, fridge for the beer, etc. You can open the throttles in pretty much anything , and the sound is just awesome. I've just taken the swim platform off mine so it has straight through exhausts. The only thing better than the sound of a V8 is two of them.
