Argo Cat in Paris

After 4 years, the search is over. Was going to build my own but found an Argo in the UK at a decent price.

Never heard of them.

Do you know who last raced it in the UK, if indeed it raced here?

I heard it raced a few years back in 1.3L, but I don't know when exactly probably in the late 80's early 90's since the boat is 1988.

Well in France there's not much choice in boats besides the 6m 200 hp italian used vee boats for 10000£. I was also kidding myself in wanting to build my own cat.
And hey maybe I'm slow

According to David 'sometimes gets it right' Sewell's excellent 1990 Powerboat yearbook, Derek Mortimer and Jim Cox ran an Argo 18 called 'Delfin' B-77 in that year.

Although of course anything 'Argo' with a number 7 on it usually means some sort of a connection with pete Wilson (where's Ciao when you need him)
