it's a shame the last owner antifowled it the hull was in like new condiction the colours are a bit old with a pair of 300 yanmars
this would be great performance boat with good economy the only problem 45 k to convert

antifowled

saw it last summer in the water near poole boat park definately had antifowl
plus saw it on the hard at saltens so thats how it is looking at photos looks like mitchells boad yard

I think Rockey is suggesting a conversion to Yanmar diesels would be nice for use here in the UK, but rather costly, not that it already has diesels fitted.

What Pantera do you have?

There's a 28 over here that originally had triple 2.4 efi's, but was converted to single big block.

Had a 24 IO 496 trs (summer breeze) sold .Had another 93 with twin 260 outboards sold presently own a 24 carrera with twin 2.4 efi outboards , dont know that 28.. theres a few for sale in oso classifieds.. Panteras = well built

It came over here early 80's I think, there was a thread on OSO, or offshorepowerboat.com, where Jo (Pepe's son) recalled the boat from it's time in the US before it came here, in fact, thinking about it, It went to Europe somewhere first, then here.

Im a zipperhead sometimes ..I was just talking with someone about another boat, girlfriend chatting could have been the booze.
Yes Jo and Pepe know most of there boats with any history, good guys.

Interestingly, the one here was/is black.

The story goes I think, that it held some or other record in the states, Miami to Key-West I think. (a long time ago)

Sadly, Offshorepowerboat.com has gone to the great forum in the sky, so it's not possible to search for the thread in question. thre was quite a bit of info on this 28 in the thread.

Im pretty sure there were a few triple outboard panteras in that era.. That one has some Heritage however. Pepe Nunez could tell ya
