How do they handle in comparison to the original ocke hulls? Is it worth buying one?

The Backdraft is a hull splash of the original B22, it was taken from a boat that fell apart and got splashed before it was 'returned'. It had a lot of tearing & splitting of the deck, but I think the running surface was ok. They copied the running surface, and did their own interpretation of the wings & deck.
Was Pete Little, Dave Arthur, and Pat Mohan at the helm, can't remember who owned the original B22, but one of that lot. I 'think' the work was done by Skull (Kev Cousans)
Ocke found out, got the hump, persued them, and they came to a deal on royalties for use of the hull design.
Pete reckoned the Backdraft had better recovery than the original due to the increased buoyancy and fullness of the fwd sections.
Pascoe went on to use the running surface on his SR7 rib. It wasn't actually all that straight/symetrical (the B22/backdraft/SR7) if you looked too closely.

The Video that ciao posted ( but now the site has been shut down) shows Ted Mannerfelt in an early 1.3 batboat. Hull 1995.
Not sure what model it was but Ian Stirling had an early backdraft too. Had shorter wings if i remember correctly?

Oooops, seems I was wrong re: Kev Cozens working on the tooling. He moulded a few for the lads, which is probably where my confusion came from, but nothing to do with the production of the mould itself (or the splashing process).
