Belonged to Richard Carr, got buggered when he 'went in' a little hard (read 'fell appart') presumebly got repaired, and re-sold.

PS. they're not 5.0 mercs, they're HP500 Mercs (500hp)

I can smell cow, no, not cow, bull....it only has 3 drives, and @ £4.5k each retail.....£13.5k, surely he didn't pay £11.5k to have them fitted, Chris Lewis would have fitted them for £10k.

OK.. OK ..Time for me to "Spill the Beans"

Assuming it's the same boat , my "business" partners father now owns it, and it is now stored in a little village on the coast in Spain.

Late last year it was lifted (as it started to sink -not serious at the time) due to perished bellows and although after inspection - replacement drives were considered at the time he decided to recondition all of them ,i assume 25k covered all the costs.. ( including sending out a UK mechanic) etc.. etc..

He has not been out in it since he bought it and wants to sell, but after the replies here, perhaps he is better trying to shift it in Spain .....

remember that Baja buzzing around Poole, if I recall that day was a bit lumpy with wind over tide, think it stuffed and hooked at high speed someware towards Old Harry, Studland area. Dont quote me on it but I think people were hurt, loads a gossip was said at the time. It looked a sad state sat at Salterns marina for ages, think Gavin Ellis may have been the guy to try and sort the mess out with insurance company. One things for certain only Richard Carr knows for sure, and I bet he reads this forum
