Ballistic xl props ? Anyone use them or rate them

Looking for a new prop and these ballistic xl are cheap but iv never used them so just seeing what people think of them or anyone had one and there thoughts please before i buy one cheers

I tried a 4 Blade Ballistic on my Bernico when I had the 200HO and it was shite! Is your motor large or small gearbox?

Lasers work well on my rig, the bernico 19 over here with a 115 uses a Raker. I have small hub 22 & 24 Rakers for sale but they'll need the hubs changed to fit merc, and possibly the barrel modified slightly.

The back of the barrel (side closest to the gear case) MAY need trimming slightly, I'm not entirely sure. If it does it's a very easy job

£250 posted, if you find it's too small I'll swap it for the 24 for the price of the postage, how does that sound? It's been thinned and hits the rev limiter with my 115, you might be better off trying the 24 first...

would you say there samller then lasers, i know a 24 laser would be fine but not for getting slalom skier up, very kind of you has the 24 had anywork

The 24 has been thinned slightly too. Jumps up on plane very easily on my boat, easier than my 24 laser, and much much better than my 26 laser. Speed and revs is exactly the same as my 24 laser, but for racing in rough water I prefer the handling of the laser.

Just been looking at hub kits, £80 more expensive than flo torque hub kit, where is the sense in that, then it will need to be fitted, the prop will stand me at over £350 just cant justify it to myself never mind my girlfriend ha ha ha looks like i will give that one a miss buddy, thanks for the offer
