No i was a passenger when i was young on a old scorpion, in group of boats, they damaged the port section and i remeber being a child of 12ish on the rear seat, but we got home ok, not fast, but we got home.

Nothing to do with the Phantom, and that had nothing to do with any drink. And there is no prob between myself and Neil, we talk often and get on well. There is no need to bring up something that happened years ago and has nothing to do with the benefits of RIB vs Hard boat.

Hardly constructive.

Threads can have a tendency to go off on tangents - this started as a topic on the construction of a BananaShark 34 from scratch.

I agree

It is interesting to hear people's view on the benefits of a RIB over a hard boat or the other way round.

Re the Cookee's boat, think it looks fantastic in either format, and look forward to seeing her perform well on the water, in RIB or Hard boat format.

I didn't mention you, or Neil.

You're right though, this has nowt to do with Cookee's new boat, it should be in it's own dedicated thread.

That's it! You load the gun, hand it to someone else, than act all innocent.

The Mcarthy record breakers pop in for a chat and to check on proceedings, and a different angle of the steps, once these are finished in place work on the sides and the detail on the "V" can continue.

No, I suspect you picked it up off your keyboard, that's the most likely source, but they need washing anyway.

Kitten has been doing a bit during the Festive period (as well as a bit of gear cutting!) - the steps are now blended in and the centre section of the hull is now in ready to be smoothed out - the hull sides will be next!

A quick update for you - the running surface has its final shape now, just have to make it shiny and stick some spray rails on it. Kitten made some formers and made some guides out of filler and then filled the gaps between them.

Is the 34' 'including' the overhang at the transom, or is that in addition to the advertised length?
