Big rib
Just unashamedly borrowed the attached photos from the MBY forum, friend has a sea training school in Spain near Gib, the local Garda Civil brought the large rib in after being caught smuggling.

Do you know what will happen to this now? it will be put in a sealed compound along with dozens of other craft all piled on top one another and no one can get them back out! somewhere in Spain there is Harry Hyams old Enfield UNOWOT which Don Shead desperately wants to get hold of and also I believe the ali Gee also the Shead design boat.

Looks like the skegs have seen a lot of action too. The outer two engines also have no zinc fin?

a possible answer for the "smugglers" boats is . . . various agencies shoot the engines, so the more engines the merrier, and the more chance of escape . . . . the smugglers also "encourage" fellow crew members to lay across the engines when under fire! This is because you just cant vittal up (shoot the **** out of) any old fast boat, with no lights on at night that wont stop!

You would need a oil tanker following that around.

Yup it's real alright - stupid but real. Fair comment about a few big diesels but as someone has pointed out with 8 engines it takes a lot to stop you!!!

I'd install a couple of large diesels and bullet proof the engine cover.
