Boat lifter?

I've got a bit of an idea... I want to get/make some form of an inflatable lifter for my new boat (once i've got it!)
It's a catamaran, so i was thinking of getting two tubes or a platform of some form made up that can be deflated or flooded to launch the boat, then pumped full of air to raise up in the tunnel and lift the boat out of the water...
It wouldn't have to be too stable as i wouldn't go on the boat with it lifted.

Any ideas on this? Has it already been done and i haven't seen it?
I don't want anything like these platforms you drive up onto, as i don't want the friction on the bottom of the hull from driving it on and off.

Cheers, James
