Thanks for the encouragment. We need more guys like you.

My last boat is called fast and furious, never liked the name, seems a bit chav. I can remember giving a guy a lift in my dinghy who said "I was looking at calling my boat fast and furious" I just rowed faster!

I just thought "oblivious" has a powerful phonetic sound, but with a I'm not taking my self too seriously edge.

It's all in the name.

Is there a meaning behind it being called 'oblivious'? I've always liked a boat name to have a meaning...

It'll be nice to have an extreme over here! Are you gonna walk around it backwards twice before renaming it??

Of course! I'd forgotten about that one, it's out of the water at the mo, for sale for about 16k. Belongs to a friend of a guy i know.

I've always love the name 'soaring peace' but seeing as extremes are such brilliantly made craft (eh tony!) that prob won't be appropriate!

Hi,
Just my thoughts but was wondering what the boat would be oblivious to - Fuel, Sea, Others etc could have a list.

For me I am more into Oblivion and dominos

Whatever sound's cool - nice boat.

I think that lives at the end of my road (which is next door in big country terms)

Haven't seen it leave his driveway in well over a year... Maybe not the one...

Thats the one!

Always used to walk home from school past it, lovely boat!

Didn't realise it was up for sale though...

I've changed my mind

I think my insurance company wouldn't look too favourable on me if I hit something and my boat's called oblivious.

I don't think it would help sell it either.

But then if I wanted to satisfy them two criteria I would have to call it either:

unsinkable

or

maintenance free

Back to the drawing board, dam!

Any ideas.

Ok a few more ideas:

Get Knotted

and

Pride of Somalia (I hear they've got some nice boats there)

I'm quite keen on "get knotted"
