Hi Guys

It's been a while but finally sold the V45 and have decided to go for a Hunton XRS37. Deposit paid, sea trial this Saturday. It's called Skyfall and is on Martin Payne's website, true to his reputation so far Martin has been a joy to deal with.

As you would expect I am rather excited.
Cheers
Andy

I take it that you had a good sea trial .

Did Martin show you the handling in tight turns. ?
Saw the boat at Saxon Wharf yesterday still looks like new.
Enjoy

Martin demonstrated how tight she could turn and true to his word the boat was pretty much faultless. Martin is a top bloke and deserves his well earned good reputation. All being well boat travels up to North Wales tomorrow and is lifted into Deganwy marina Wednesday. Should be quite a rare sight around here.

Great first season (thanks for asking). Really impressed with the boat, it loves the rough stuff and it's good to return to proper boating rather than caravaning. The longest we stayed on it was 4 nights, wife not too impressed with the accommodation so may look at upgrading to a 43 in the future.

Glad you enjoyed.

The boats just love the rough stuff and also the throttles only seem to like 1 position WOT

There is a great 43 on Martins site
http://www.martinpaynemarine.com/use...BoatID=4425244

I have seen this boat and again its like new. very good value for money compared with brand new.

So, after 2 thoroughly enjoyable seasons with the XRS37 I've sold it now and bought an RS43 with triple Yanmar 315s. Only been out on it once (crappy British weather) but first impressions are really good, it performs very similar to XRS37 and has a good level of creature comforts. Here's to a good summer.

Now if Hunton where to ever pull their finger out and build the 52 that they been talking about since 2012 you would have your next boat lined up.
How does the 43 compare to the 37 ?

I prefer the ride of the 37's to the 43's Enjoy the boat I am sure you will have great fun in this one too

At the latest Hunton prices I can't see the 52 happening (hope I'm wrong).

As to a comparison to the 37 I can't really comment yet as I've only been out on it once but seemed to perform really well!

If you look on Martin Payne's web site you can see a feature on the new grey cockpit upholstery I've had fitted.

Cheers
Andy
