Boat test
Hi guys I'm new to all this boat stuff. I got this little boat
From my late grandfather also the engine.
If just put it all together and it runs.
My question is how quick is it likely to be
As iv never driven a boat before.

That looks like a recipe for disaster mate!
How long is that boat?
Id say you have about 130hp too much there!
Still, she will get on the plane quickly providing you can get the bow back down out of the clouds.

Boat
Either replace the 200 Merc with a 50 Merc and have a fun boat, or keep the engine and replace the boat with something 18' - 21', even more fun.
At the moment you don't have a safe fit and you could cause harm to yourself and your passengers.
I bet your Grandad was a bit of fun, though.

Reminds me of Porthcawl in the 70's - Chrysler 150's on 12' Pictons. All the A&E nurses knew you by name.
Hang On Kerry, I seem to remember Southend with Motorvator at the wheel and Clarkie with the Gordon's.

Edzackery. Nothing wrong with cable steering although at least I made the effort to go out onto wing plates rather than just tieing a drag link to the cables.

The man talks sense. You may also wish to invest in a sidecar system for the driver to hang out over the right hand side with the batteries and fuel tank once our Lawrie has sorted you out.
