Boat Trailer P20

Would this be any good for my p20? Is ALUMINIUM good or bad news?

Being serious, I know that brine is particularly abbrasive. And I also know that the the blackwater & crouch are bleeding salty...

but i thought the whole point of ali was non-rust?

I have to admit to not attending any materials lectures........They were during Home & Away!!

Just to add a little bit of use less info, certain grades of ali are ok but they have to be either 6082 or 5083. Not the stuff you can buy in B&Q!!!!

There are plenty of ali boats about, as long as it's the right stuff it's fine.

Your outboard is made form ali as are most jackplates and cheapo props, salt will eat it eventually though. Ali suffers from fatigue badly too next to steel.
