Boatmad.com Rally

Well bin thinking about it for a while now and just bin talking to Johney who now runs OFF AXIS watersports club(our old powerboat club, the marina) in Pwhellei harbour,he is up for it,as is up for it,Andy next door(Rock Powerboats) is up for it,so feck it,its on.SATURDAY 30th JULY.Open to any seaworthy boat that can cover 60 nautical miles, launch from the clubs own slip, moor up on clubs own pontoon,20 yards from the bar and restaurant,all// recently refurbed, toilets ,showers, changing rooms, all overlooking the harbour.Plan is to all leave en mass to Abersoch, cut thro the islands and head for Barmouth, fish and chips and a pint, follow the coast north to Shell island, then razz back into Pwhellei harbour, get changed, ready for a free champagne/buffet reception/disco/karoke,not quite a poker run, more like a lotto run.All boat owners will pick out a numbered table tennis ball, all the balls go into a sack, jiggled about, the barmaid will pick one out at random, the lucky winner will get a GRAND IN HIS HAND.All boat owners and crew will get a commerative,embroided,BOATMAD.COM polo t shirt,a mug and a colour programme with all your ugly mugs and pictures of your boats inside with a bit of blurb about you.The cost to participate is FECK ALL.What i now need is your chest sizes and a picture of you and your boat and your editorial,(whats your name and where do yer come from, etc)Ther has to be a cut off date 1st of june,so i can get all the shirts and programmes sorted.JOHN,if you want to come and bring LEVIATHAN it would then be official,i will pay for your fuel and a hotel for you and your crew.WHO IS UP FOR IT

I'm very interested, once more details are out i'll confirm. i am presuming you mean 60 mile round trip not 60 miles to a fuel point for this rally?
Good luck.

Unhappy

I wish this had been this year, I've been waiting for something like this up this way for a while. Unfortunately my boat sunk on its mooring during a storm in September and I can't see me having anything sorted for next season.

Probably would have struggled to keep up with you boys anyway.

I'll be there to spectate though.
