Dave, I have to admit, I've never found the excel venue very inspiring, as you say, it has no soul.
I also miss our 'after show kebabs' that had become something of a ritual with Earls Court.

You didn't come round to see us did you! We have the best powerboat films going at the show. They would have woken you up!

Round Britain highlight
Yes I did Mike. True that was one of the highlights, watching old films of the Round Britain epics.

Yep your right, I dont have 2 million to spend on a sunseeker. I also don't want a f*****g sailing boat. Come on BMIF get a grip. I think a sportboat show a Earls court would be a great idea. Boat's that can be towed behind car or on flat bed lorry so that keeps costs down. The organisers would not have to hire the halls for nearly 3 monthes to get big sunseekers in and out. A benefit for all I think.

Mike K said it was better than ever before at Excel. Maybe it's getting there?
Still rather have the EC format.

Well have to say we had a great show.
Lots if interest and lots of sales.
Still not convinced the they are doing enough to get the public in but worked well for us this year.
Nice to see some new faces to.
Best regards
