Question Bow tank tell tale?

This mite be another one for johnson! Ive just got my original p21 bow tank from hutchy and when i put it in and plumbed the pipes back to it this evening i noticed that on the "tell tale" pipe out of the tank going to the side of the boat there is another small pipe (roughly 8mm) going to the dash? Im assuming this was some sort of warning to the driver that the tank was full but does any one know what it went to and how it worked?

Depends how you want it set, normally pointing it at the co drivers face is quite effective otherwise it's your preference where you will see it.

Remember there could be blowback from it

Where it exits you dont want it blowing back in ya face or anybody sitting in the back. I have seen them just below the deck line on the hull at various locations from about the3 feet in front of drivers shoulder to level with it,
Its only a momentary thing as you close the fill when it tell tails but british seawater is bloody cold !!!!!

oh got ya! well the big tell tale pipe exits just below the deck line about three feet up from the driver but coz mines a tandem you cant see it when it comes out so im assuming they used this pipe somewhere else to be able to see it! I'll have to put it somewhere ican see it but aint gonna get wet!
