Carr's New Boat

The teamhoneyparty.com website is now live with a fantastic array of pics in the gallery of the Skater 399 being tested on lake Michigan and also some cool detail shots. It seems Mr P is still able to make a small fortune out of a large one!

Very nice indeed!

Except....

Those internal exhaust tubes aren't up to Marks usual classy standard! they look a bit like a bunch of spralling soil pipes you'd find on the side of a council house! Especially having corners, instead of swept curves. He should paint em black and have a few cast iron joints in em. ...and pebble dash the engine bay.

Maybe they're temporary, as the the fitout was rushed I believe....and now I feel rotten.

I suppose thats a sense of humour test for MP and me off the Christmas list then!

would those exhaust pipes not be likely to cracking as there does not appear to be a lot of support giving the g force created in large seas at speed...is this boat in the Uk a very large offshore powerboat behind a truck such as the teams in P1 use went past my premises this week it had surface drives and it looked like the back of the boat was painted blue and under the cover it gave the appearance of a large canopy
