I was putting together an article for Raceboat International today about the The fifth UIM annual Gala.
Last year Chris Davies and I flew down there for it - I have never liked Monaco - It's like Croydon with sea with the addition of Latvian prostitutes and a tax break for a bunch of wankers.
I was trying to find out this morning who had won the coveted Stefano Casiraghi Memorial Award.
I rang John Puddifoot who was in Nice Airport - He informed me that the RYA Powerboat Racing Department had been bestowed the honour.
I am still slightly numb now.
