Champagne Mumm Robert Cook

Just trying to help out with a question over on the other side of the pond.

I remember Robert Cook owning a cigarette 35 Mistress called Champagne Mumm which I am pretty sure was more or less standard, with the open leisure cockpit and less powerful motors etc. Can anyone confirm if he ever owned the ex Doxford Limit Up cigarette? I ask as I have the entry list for the 86 Guernsey event and it lists Champagne Mumm as being a 35' Cig with twin Jag motors developing 1700hp. ???? Thanks in advance.

Champagne Mumm Cigarette

Looking in the archives and with reference to MB & Y and Powerboat & Watersking the following info is stated.

Bloodhound - Production Cigarette Awesome 35,built 1978, 2 x Merc 460,as entered in 1984 Round Britain.
1985 sold to son Robert and renamed Champagne Mumm, same engines.
1986 re engined with 2 x Jag 850.
Looks like it`s pure coincidence that in 1981 Peter Stuyvesant (ex-Limit Up)
was a 35` Ciggy with 2 x Jag 800.
For ref Limit Up was ex-Jumpin Jack (1976)

Better update my database,unfortunately I went into a `Black Tornado`moment there.

We can really put the stamp "filed" on the Bloodhound case.

During the early 1990's Robert C had Bloodhound refitted for pleasure use and repowerd with a pair of 365hp Mercruisers, its now sat in Guernsey
