Chris Craft Stinger 37 foot (ish?) 'WINED-UP'

Does anyone remember the red 37 ish foot Chris Craft Stinger in Guernsey during the late 80's / early 90's called 'Wined-Up' that was often out assisting with the Class One Powerboat Weeks in Guernsey?

Does anyone have any photos of this stunning boat?

I believe it was sold to Scandanavia? any one know of its where-abouts now?

Cheers

Jacques

It was a Chris Craft 415 Stinger, the owner I believe was Dick Ridout. I thought I had a picture of it but I don't seem to so here's a photo of a sister ship from the 1987 Chris Craft brochure.

There was also a Cougar Cub in the same colour scheme called 'Mini Wined Up'.

It was Dick Ridout's. I think I remember seeing it in one of the old Guernsey videos in the gallery, and the Cub too.

Possibly that vid? My computer's being a dick and won't stream it properly though. Even if it's not in there it's worth watching!

Did it end up with a change of colour and name to "Playstation"?

Standard power were the Merc 420s w/TRS with the boat weighing about 12,500 lbs so probably 55-60 mph.

There is a company called Atlantic Charter in the Canaries though with the same boat and twin Volvo 7.4 Gsi (385shp) that makes the following claim:

It's equipped with a powertrain that allows it to reach speeds exceeding 80 knots. But for security reasons in the Atlantic seas are not appropiate that speed.

Wined up. Finally back on water. 2019

After years of restoration, wined up was finally back at sea in 2019. With volvo penta D6 engines, and almost everything from cabin and back new.

Cool, do you have any rebuild pictures you would be happy to share? It would be interesting to see them and perhaps help lift Boatmad out of the doldrums.
