Oh dear... When I spoke to Hutchy last he was desperate to keep it a secret that he'd bought the Aquavite, guess that's out of the bag now then eh!!
But yeah, that and the cig, both awesome boats!

I think the secret went out the window when he told Clarkie about it. The amount of people that have come up to me recently said you wanna see what Hutchy has bought its hardly a secret now.

Sean your boat won't fit in Wannabee's bath
There has always in the past been points awarded for each race over the season.
The drivers have been working out the standings themselves Frank is chasing me !
I hope Havelet is rough next race

Yeah as far As I'm aware there's no Championship, just individual races... Can't wait to see the Aquavite, gorgeous boats!

Blimey, this is getting a bit heated!! Just to settle a few things...
We don't have a championship as such over here, it is just a basic series. As we've said before, if we can do a points system we will, but it's far from the most important thing on our minds at the moment. I don't think many of the racers are fussed either. In all honesty, I'm not 100% sure you'd be leading it anyhoo Simon.
As far as Hutchy's boat is concerned, it sounds like everyone knew about it a while ago, but just kept hush about it, so in reality it's not exactly the end of the world that word's out! When I spoke to him last it was like I was the only person on the planet that knew!!

Very true, but the class structure was a touch easier back then, with different classes often in different races, so it was all a bit easier to work out.

I'd love to know how, seeing as we don't yet have a clue how we'd be doing it, if at all!
Should we do it, it'll all depend on what's considered more important, how many races you attend, or what position you finish in.
The way I see it, this year has been a great opportunity for us to all get sorted and establish a decent fleet. As a result, we're now successfully running one of the biggest series in the UK, and I believe the only basic series, all in the name of fun.
Our handicap system hasn't been perfect, we've all been trying to get everything sorted all year, so I can see an overall points award causing more hassle and arguments than anything else.
All just my 2p, obviously anything like this would be a committee decision, not mine.
Cheers, James

400 for an overall win
360 for second
324 for third
288 for Fourth
260 for Fifth
Overall winner gets a trophy(Driver of the year)
Seems fair to me
