Concorde Boats

I am looking at buying a used Concorde 18 ft bowrider but can't find anything on the boats. Any info would be very appreciated.

John

Question Concorde

John; I'm racing against the bloke who makes Concorde's this weekend.
I'll ask him about the bowrider, didn't know they made one to be honest.
If it's the same company I'll get the web-site address for you.

As far as I know the racing version does not, but I'm not sure, I'll check & advise.
As for the 18' Bowrider, I'll have to enquire (if it's the same company).
Post your "pic's" on here, maybe it'll jog someone's memory.

John
John,
I used to have a Concorde Calypso back in the mid 80`s. It was a great little boat until I made the usual mistake of putting too much power on the back!
They were made by Lyn Dudley near Milford Haven and at that time they made a 13ft (Calypso), 14ft (Fiesta) and a 16ft (Florida). I think they then stretched the Florida but I cant remember to what length. Pete Little and Dave Arthur raced a Fiesta in OCR and took the championship for several years.
I think the moulds are now with a guy called Phil Bennett, the last number I had for him was 01634 255552. Hope this helps.

I thought it was Phil Bennetts brother Andy Bennett that raced and made boats, certainly made the boat that he currently has.

dbe1; The Bennett Brothers may well have built boats but it's Phil who builds & races now.
Johnb; Spoke with Phil yesterday, he said they have never made a Bowrider, he said maybe it's a American company of the same name, they like that type of boat out there.
Hope this helps.
