No, Coniston, as noted by Kerry, is fundimentaly for registered race boats to establish / set records for their respective classes, whilst abiding by the rules set out for those classes.

These records are recorded as improvements on previous records for those specific classes, and most importantly, within the criteria of the class rules.

At Windermere you could do a certificate of performance, which didn't have to abide by any class rules. but that was then, things are different now and I don't think it's anyones god given right to be able to attempt a self record within a clubs event.

so does that mean i cant run the talon with a single engine then??it fitted in a class last year
