Coniston

Any news from Coniston, broken records ?
The F2000 was broken on the first pass but the boat flipped on the return pass.

Christof - the flying king in the picture is Spanish! ( from france! ) From the Basq region, so he and Ana 'habla'd the espanol' all week.

He did actually set the national record, but his 'up' time was good enough that the sent him out on a 'back to back' to try claim the world. He says it was allhis own fault for going too fast. He got air before the timestart. He walked away, and was in good spirits, and even pushed his own boat to get weighed!

He also had some ham ( the whole leg! ) and bundles of cheese.

Springbok Mick was his 'techie' ( and also diagnosed my alternator failure! )

Didn't know there was a Fountain in the country.

I think that will be the STEAM driven engine. It looks like a jet engine, but it is a steam turbine! Quite interesting!

Ah, the Buzzi hull that Reggie stuck his name on. Sort of like those Skater "Fountains."
