Sounds great but not sure our budget stretches to a 46
looking at 35-38 at the moment.

Don't think so. The Drambuie boat had a hardtop.

Could be a con - it's actually cheap for what it is I think? And it isn't made by CJR either!

I remember reading in one of the old"POWERBOAT AND WATERSKIING" magazines in the late 70's ( when I was boy ) there was an ad for Cigarette powerboats with the words

WARNING CIGARETTES MAY SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOUR WEALTH

Its a 35 foot flat top. There is no interior in the boat. Believe they were made just for racing.

Sad thing about this round GB is that it is out of reach of 99% of the everyday boatmader. Would a good idea be that interested boatmad parties club together with a budget for each leg they wish to cover and split the costs of running. The boat would be sold at end of round GB and funds divided accordingly, after running costs

Mad but maybe..........

One problem with that is, If your on leg 5 and the boat breaks by leg 4, Lot of unhappy people not racing.
It sounds a lot of money but i think the entry fee is structured well. Three of us are putting something together hopefully so the cost isn't so bad. This is a Race / Rally / Adventure of a life time.
