Cowes info - RYA??

Would the RYA be the best people to phone for info regarding round the island this year?
If not does anyone know who else?
Want to know about classes/fees.
Cheers, Max

BUMP:

Does anyone have information on entering Cowes Basic 2007?

I heard they are worried about a lack of entries, yet I am unable to find out HOW to enter - I am sure there are others with the same problem...

Aparently the entry form is here: http://www.powerboatp1.com/documents/Cowes2007.pdf

Entry fee is set at a reasonable £440.

Hi All

Just stumpled across this thread that will teach me to look where i am going.

It would seem that the Basic Cowes round the Island race is suffering from a lack of information.

I am not promising anything but if you need information let me know what you need to know and i will try to find out and post it here for you.

Kind regards

Denise

Just looked at the Cowes Basic round the Island entry fees and it looks like the entry fee for it is £137.50

It would seem the £440.00 figure is for Class 3c and V24 National races

Hope that helps

Think you will find 3c are not going to cowes this year because of the entry fee. Will hold 3 heats in Italy, its cheaper!!!

So it looks like 2 national v24's. Its a crying shame, but we can not be looked on as miltche cows anymore. Sorry for the pun!!! John thanks for the offer but the fleet will be getting ready for our italian adventure. Should be a good laugh.

You hid it in the correct section. You should know by now that people are not going to actually look in the right place for answers!
