Cutting up boats
Have just heard that Berthans are cutting uo for scrap the old SBS Gen 2 boats (the Buzzi Triple Seatek) They also had all the spares for them. Does any one have any more info like were the engins removed etc or were they just crushed as they were?

Thats the VSV, designed in the UK and not by FB design.

Shame....
CANT AND WONT say anymore about it but being around boats now for a day or to i would have said they sure didnt look like they would work very well.

As we all know that the Buzzi design has proven itself many times your comments refer to the Thompson design I assume. Not many of the VSVs were made but I think they worked quite well.

As i put the picture up of the VSV or wat ever it is (i dont really care wat the fcuk it is) then yea that was what i was talking about, and as for Mr FB boats then yes im well aware they work very well ,but thanks for the eggs i love sucking them, And as you seem to know so much about the VSV then maybe you could explain why they are cutting the fcuking sh1t up after 20 odd hours.???????????

Because they have found a better design to do the job or because they do not need those boats and do not want them to end up in the wrong hands. I can not believe that (at least) 3 reputable builders of high speed marine crafts buy and build a bad design.
But what do I know. YOU are the expert although it seems to me that you dedicate most time of the day to your other ‘interests’.
