we are still testing at the moment. I have tried 1.46 and 1.36 drives. Had 42 knots so far!

hi rob, nice to see you got finished, dont know if you got my last message in 2014, think i may have been a little hope full with the 50kts but still think it should make high 40s, gear ratio is very important, will volvo not give advice? thinking back the P D C gave us about 41/42 kts on the gps with the kad 300 I think you still have quite a bit more to come. did you have to move the port engine bed? Think you are in southampton so will look out for the boat in the summer, should stand out quite well if you make around the 50kts. Out of interest we got a steady 34kts on the log with the 230kads, was yours much the same?. all the best pete L.

just looking at some old messages, how did you find the d7s worked out in the end? what gear ratio did you end up with, i would have thought the 1.59 may suit the best, hope you got the sort of top speed and economy you were looking for. do like the boat and was very pleased with the kad 300s as they suit the hull so well, am thinking what to do in the future when they start getting tired, i tended to feel the d7s were a bit heavy for the hull shape so would be very interested to here how you got on in the end. all the best, pete L.
