Colour
Hi Carl,
You are right: it was yellow. I was fitting some vents to the transom and drilled though yellow paint.
One step of the puzzle completed.

There was a yellow Delta 25 up on the Thames at Sunbury for many years called 'Delta Lady', dunno if it's the same one. That had a single Mercruiser and belonged to a friend of mine for a while in around the late 80's / early 90's. Very pretty boat.

I think you will find that a number of Delta25's had a mustard colour yellow hull. This was the gel coat colour.

Delta Lady
Hi All,
My husband happened to stumble accross this older thread about Delta 25's and the mention of a boat called Delta Lady. I'm not sure if this message will reach Deltamad or eclipsescilly but we owned Delta Lady in the early 1990's.
We bought her from a guy who moored her on the Thames at Plaits Ait and she was a bit neglected. We moved her to Wallasea Island in Essex until she was sold to the Medway/Rochester in Kent. (I think we bought her about Sept 1991 and sold her in about 1995)
We spent about 2/3 years trying to restore her (but being our first project this took a while!). she came with no cockpit seats - only the stainless steal bottom frames and the back bench seat was black vinyl. We were given a set of front seats by a local boat builder and had them all re-upholstered in Blue/grey/white.
Her inside was in quite a sorry state and this too was all re-lined and re-upholstered in blue and white. The hull was always white and when polished you could definately see the outline of numbers so we guessed it may have raced at some time. We had the back teak wood strip replaced as it was rotten and also fitted the trim tabs as she rode very nose high (but still managed to get a respectable 23 knots out of her!)
So glad she is still around!

I remember Delta Lady on the thames back then.
A pal of mine bought another yellow delta 25 in the same area (Chris Murdock)
I was based at Shepperton.

She now lives in the Isles of Scilly, Great to see the pics of her racing.

So glad she is still around!
(We still have some photo's if you are interested? )

I only have acouple of pics, and if you have any info on what happened to Oh Lor I would love to see it

My understanding is that 'Trident/Oh Lor' is in the hands of Maxwell Beaverbrook, who is planning the restoration I believe.

We were looking for a new boat at the time and saw Delta Lady advertised in MBM I think and so only visited the Thames to view her - unfortunately did not know of the other Delta 25 was there. It would have been good to see it though.

Delta Owners
Hi All,
Nice to see more photo's of Deltas! I have been looking for a long time to find fellow owners. I bought Ammot's Schrazade and have spent the last year bringing her up to date (Sympathetically Adrian!). I have lots of photo's and will try and post them , as soon as I find out how!

I think the blue one was from a while ago, about 10k, restored but with no engine. The yellow one I think was mine, Scherazade, before the hull was re painted.
Edsboat, where is Delta Lady now? Scherazade is lying in North Wales.

LYING (in North Wales) being the operative word as the old dog never leaves it's berth due to engine faults.
