Cool desperation to beat Mr Little!!

Who asked my gorgeous brother Giovanni to race V24 for free in Norway purely for the reason of beating Peter Little???
Is that possible.......Me thinks maybe!

That would have been an great battle and I was thinking of running a sweepstake on BoatMad but it's in June and I have a sneaky feeling I'll be commandeering his time with Havana Cola in Italia ...........but......should there be a prize fund and Gio also gets paid to race, then I'll make sure he gets there, no ifs and buts!!!!! I'll allow you to have him for the weekend, and I'm on a 20% cut of his fee!! only joking!!!!! But he's worth his weight in gold...!

I think we have some great drivers over here who will give Pete a good run for his money this year, but he is good isn't he?

Who's racing V24 this year? Are there any new guys [or girls] and are there some more boats out?

Has this been written in a secret code, or are you just pissed!!

I haven't got a clue what your talking about, care to explain, although I think I know who this Giovanni is. Is he the bloke with the pony tail and too many teeth?

Giovanni Carpitella - races anything that floats rather well up to and including Class 1 (Damas) and a jolly nice bloke as well!

I also heard a rumour that a few people are trying to get a few dream teams out to beat Pete Little i would like to see those teams as i feel Pete Little is one of the Gods of Powerboating as every Class he enters he succeeds in. Why does everybody want to beat him as they are quite clearly not good enough apart from the Italian guy who might but i doubt it.
I feel that the latest team ( Pete Little/ Gavin Brown) is stronger than ever.

Yes he had his work cut out there but he did it.
Fair play though she has done the best out of any other female in this country at least she can stay up front all the way instead of being a first turn hero, then coming in 7th or 8th.

Anyway i think the talking will be done on the water instead of the pits as it is done every year, ( Pete Little Winning).

Interesting comment! I think I'm a good friend of Gavins, and agree this will most likely be an excellent team, however, David Arthur is one very professional navigator (and driver for that matter) and I can't for the life of me see how things could get any better than they were with Pete and Dave racing together.

I strongly agree with you there, it wasn't a dig at David Arthur it was a dig at all the people who have got all excited about beating Pete Little because the rumour is that him and Gavin are a dream team well Pete and David were a dream team and just as hard to beat.I just think it gets hyped up and everybody gets carried away with it.
Nobody knows how anybody will do racing is unpredictable.
I just wish everybody would stop trying to beat Peter Little
( i wonder if he's worried about all this probably not)

Well Mr Nomates
The point of going racing is to win or at least do your best at driving, navigating & preparing the boat.
The fact that peter little is probably the best class 3 driver in in the u.k. & dave arthur, likewise the best navigator, do you not think its to be expected that other teams may just want to try to beat them.
