Does anyone know a formula powerboat restored on IOW
Its a plane white hull in kingston yard on the Isle of Wight, had lots of interior work done to it and has both engines out and stripped at the moment
does anyone know it? or the owner?
I was told the make was a "formula"

That sounds like a boat that caused quite a stir on here a while ago, think talks of splashing popped up, but I could be well wrong so sorry to anyone if I am. I'm sure there were pics and a yellow rib was in the pic too.

You must be thinking of Maltese Magnum II / Twin that was in a yard in Cowes...

Yeh I know the one. Iv been doing the inner and P bracket cutlasses on the 40ft squadron opposite it last week.
Been talking to the guy doing the engines on the power boat. He is ok on engines but is a car mechanic so knows nothing about drives. Not even taken them off to check bellows U,Js or gimball bearings??
