Thats NOT a driver, its a Streaker 15.....this is a copy.

If you rting Mike @ upminster marine, 01708 226909. He'll reluctantly tell you all about them.

The one i had was certainly more beautifull than a 440. the gell work was fine & the 70 'rude m,ade it go very well (i later had a 60 merc.....bag o shite!)./

I wouldnt have much more power and wouldnt want anything heavier. The main faults were than the floor wrotted to crap & they are very....i repeat very light!!!

oh.....and evry tosser in essex......insists on telling you its a copy & turning thier noses up.

the 17 streaker (Driver 500) was much better....V4 Jonny 90hp. Superb!

Well done eagle eyed Captain the guy selling it said it was a streaker did but had the same hull as this one http://www.exeleisure.co.uk/boat_detail.php?boat=100
I did a search for Streaker but didnt find much apart from sailing boats cross referanced the driver and presumed it was a 440 and Streaker was just a model name. Didnt releaise it was a splash. Thanks for the info capatin what would Upminister marine tell me about them?

How do I know if the floor is rotten?

If it's anything like a Driver 440, be prepared to play wityh props etc. I have a Driver 440 with a 70 'Rude. Can't get it set up right. Good luck.

Friends boat runs well 36mph is the max we have had out of it what does yours run? Hes thinking of changing the prop. We noticed with two people in the boat and towing a wakeboard it stuggles to plane at first. However it runs pretty well its a bit wild in the turns though - feels like it might roll over compared to the phantom!

Had a 14x13" prop on last time I had it out. Too little prop, WOT and the revs were way too high. As for top speed, got the wrong speedo on. 35 MPH end of scale. Does this easy with 14x13" prop. Hole shot is terrible at the moment. Have put a 13x15" Hustler prop on now and smart tabs. Have still yet to get to the water this year. Windermere is a no go area now. Still looking for a skiing spot.
