Shakspeare
Johnson, I think it could actualy be. A mate of mine has one the exact same, it has shakespeare badges and a plate rivited to the dash. His fairly shifts with a V4 and quite good in the rough too.
Just found this...
http://www.dsv.su.se/~klas/Test/History/history.html
Think it could be one of campbell's designs?
Matt, so thats your old boat! How fast did you get it to run? I was curious about the scream and fly stickers.
I'm still trying to get the hydrostream to run flat, never mind flat out! I need to jack it up more but I don't want to put the jackplate back on untill I beef up the transom. I'm going to put a new floor in this winter and anything else that needs replacing.
I might build a bridgeport for it too if time and funds allow, altough I have been told these old 225's are prety hot! But bottom end SUXXX. Atleast with a 28 and 30 chopper, bow just points to the moon at takes an age to spin up.
It's the best boat I have ever been in though, you should get one, seriously!
Alan

Alan, that's an interesting insight into Shakespear, thanks for the link.
I don't think it's a Campbell design either, I think he did just the 650 and 960 (21' and 31') which are quite modern looking, and excellent looking mouldings.
I may well be wrong, I often am, but it sure looks like a Marina.

my sharpe went through the rough really well. in some ways better than my phantom shame it fell to pieces every time it went out. would never have said it needed a bow tank though could never get the nose out of water.
merc 2.4 200 had motor on 5 1/2" setback. 1.87:1 gearbox 24" Chopper 6200RPM 75.8MPH

There are few boats that wouldn't benefit from a shiftable C of G (bow tank) when in a big head sea.

wish i shifted the c of g yesterday when driving Cyco's boat in the rough as i stuffed it through a wave and bit my tongue as a wall of water smashed me in the face (well crash helmet.) at least i saw it coming unlike my observer who just heard a scream before getting knocked out of his seat. didnt stop us we just had bilge pump on for 10 mins as the water was two thirds of the way up the battery. think i got wetter than Cyco and he was skiing
