Exchange rates!

Just had a nice 'little parcel' from the States - this week pound certainly does not help with imports!

Ye not good and it's getting worse, were having a bit of rough time this morning on the exchange rates loosing more ground to the Euro as it's assumed the BOE will reduce interest rates by another 1/4 0r 1/2 percent in Jan and house prices are in for a new kicking next year all lots of fun to look forward too

Just opened an IMCO ccount and hoping to sell through K4+ - but not cheap - even before the pound diving. I think a complete system (minus steering wheel) is going to work out around £2150 + vat. But may carry on getting worse!

Otherwsie we may have another less expensive option. A twin bar fron mounted system. There are steering bars both sides of the tilt tube / arm -which both link to the central steering arm. Thus balancing the loads a bit better and taking some of the shock out of it / protecting the central bolt connection. Just fitted our first system to my RIB. Still this we buy in Euro's so cannot win - looking at somewhere around £950 plus vat. Will try to sort out some photos.

.
I currently do that same system from Imco for around 1900.00 + vat (complete with hoses), but as you say, a lot depends on the dollar rate. Steve at Hypro also dabbled in it, and I believe both Scorpion and Dave Crawford also have accounts.

Can't beat a bit of competition to keep the prices competitive!

You either have better trade discount than me or and / no profit!

I'd like to think a better discount, having been buying from them for over 10 years, as for profit, you can't really expect much for a few emails and shifting cardboard boxes!!!!!

Let me quote for your next system.
