Exclusive for HORBA

HORBA....Historic Offshore Race Boat Association has some great news, just in time for the coming Christmas season.

Don Aronow's oldest son, Michael Aronow, has agreed to serve on the Advisory Board of HORBA.

After a long and productive meeting today, he has also given HORBA exclusive access to the Aronow Archives. These archives contain all of Don's letters, photos, movies, company notes, drawings, etc. etc. All we can say is.....this stuff is priceless.

ALSO he has granted HORBA exclusive sale and distribution rights for a limited edition of the famous race boat "The Cigarette". The scale of the boat is 1 inch for 1 foot.

The boat was 32 feet...the model is 32 inches. More info and details soon.

We are also looking at including the Aronow race boats in our T-shirt line.

There will be a limited edition and numbered run of just 25 models.

Each will be personally signed by Michael Aronow.

The cost will be $2,500 each. US dollars. I don't have a clue on S&H to England...but will find out.

Over here we are telling interested parties to consider what they spend on a normal poker run weekend, which is sometimes twice this amount.....and this model can only go up in value in the future.

Numbers 1, 6, 7, 13, 17 and 22 have been taken as of this time and date.

The toal run is of 100. Michael Aronow only will release 25 each year...... as this was the number of boats that Cigarette made in the first years of it's life.

At this point we are allowing buyers to select a number for their own model. This buyer wants #30 .....so his boat will still be in the number of 25 boats to be released this year.

The plan is to increase the price for the next four years, so the first years buyers will have made a good investment.

Michael told me his dad was asked by someone if he was worried about only having Cigarette make 25 boats per year.

Don answered by saying........ "I am only concerned that those 25 boats are the best possible boats that I can make and the buyers will get something special".

His son is the same way in his approach to the sale of this model.

The first three models are ready for shippng next week to their new owners across the country....so far all sales have been made in the States.
