How can it be the end, we haven't had the begining yet.

Just to stop the runmour mill which runs at 90 to the Dozen on here.

We have a new boat being built !!!!!!

That could be the simple answer

Yes very similar it has a front and a back and everything!

Being serious it will be able to enter the Round Britain and P1

As the interest in Hotboats is seriously lacking i have to race somewhere

Actually to stop you guessing wrongly its a Ring 36 which before anyone asks will have twin Mercruiser power.

Oh and as i know you all so well i will answer the unspoken question yes there is a Ring 36 its a brand new boat being developed right now. Along with a new Ring 25 and a new Ring 30 if you want to know anymore just let me know it saves a lot of time in the end

Thats great for you, I'm not 100% sure but I was under the impression Mike Ring has been wanting to develop some bigger stuff for quite a while (infact I think he's quoted as saying so in an interview with SB&R mag a few years back)

I thought the 25 cruiser had already been made for an oversees customer?

will it be in the traditional ring style?

That's the first I have heard of it Gary, we are way over on capacity entries so you will have to go on the reserve listing I am afraid if you are serious.

Old Man

I said this new boat could enter the round Britain race i never said it was entering the round Britain Race. My statement was that it was capaple of going round Britain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having read a lot of postings about boats for sale and people saying they may still enter i think that you had better make it clear through all channels eg Boatmad and Pontoon talk that you have enough boats and people have to go on a reserve listing and have only a small chance of getting in to race. It would save them time effort money and letting down sponsership options because lets be honest unless there is a great deal of sponsership for them already in place it is going to cost them Thousands.

Also the boat is being built to enter Hotbboats and P1 just so that everyone knows Burryport is running for Hotboats.

Chris speak to your chairman who will let you know that Hotboats no matter what happens will be running Pwllheli for you all, we know how important it is to do what you say you will do. Hope that answers the question for you

Gary, your posts confuse the shit outta me!

I don't know whether it's just me, but I feel your posting style, manner, and apparent secrecy, & cryptic communication / innuendo / word games (attempted) with the UK racing fraternity, don't help your cause with the credibility of the Hotboats racing series, or racing on the whole, one little bit!

If it is just me, then I appologise for speaking out of hand, but I suspect there are others just as confused as I.

JF

Gary did not post the reply i did, and if i have confussed you i am sorry put it down to me being female.

I do not understand the fact that you believe that everything we do is a top secret it is not we can only ever tell you what we know. The main problem is JF is that everyone says they will do something and then they take to changing their mind and so you never really know who is genuine and who is just out there on a wind up and it has made getting Hotboats started a real pain.It is a great shame that no matter how much hard work you do it is never enough for some people who can only pick holes in what you are trying to do to support powerboating racing in this country

I would love to have my own name on here so that there is no confussion betwreen Gary and i but you system will not allow me to have my own name on here if it did people could then take cheap pot shots at me for everything we have tried to do if i dont quite get the grammer right. Guys to be honest i love Powerboat racing and it has become my passion too, but sometimes it is really hard to see why so many people bother because all they ever get is slagged off. So if when i post something it is confussing then maybe you need to read it again and see what is trying to be said and JF at least you asked the question. The answer is the new boat could go round Britain and no we have not become part of the boats that have confirmed for the round britain race because the money needed to do this race means like most teams we need all the support we can get. However my concern is that if people are still thinking about entering this event and they have to become reserves it will cost them lots of time money etc and they may not even get to enter. So they need to know this, i think this event will be great and i am pleased that there are so many boats entered and i wish it well.

The bit for CB1 was to save me writing 2 posts and to let him know that he needs to book his accom for wales

Hope that clears it up

Denise

You can have as many user names as you like! the 'system' doesn't stop you.

If you really want your own username, I'll happily set it up for you if you're struggling.

The round Britain Race was advertised as being run with a limited entry right from the outset, if you, or anyone else didn't realise that, you can't have read the information that was posted (many times) on the RB website through it's various incarnations. It beggars belief that a race promoter can fail to understand the basic race info of another.

As far as the 'Could', 'Capable', 'Would', 'Might', 'Able', 'Was', 'Is' nonsense.....what on earth are you on about? What possible interest would anyone have in that comment, if it didn't mean you 'intended' to race in the RB? and why would you say it?

I'm starting to think that you guys enjoy the 'perceived notariety' of all this race promoter/game playing.

I believe quite a few will drop out once they realise the "actual" cost of doing it, or rule changes 'exempt' them, so I'm sure plenty who go 'on reserve' will end with the chance to compete. As you say, it will be an amazing race.

regards

jf
