Fast boats designed to order
Quotes by Jon..
Fighting at cowes with another ****! where would that go? the **** stole the whole range of boats! he has no morals, why would a 'chat' in cowes change anything for that thieving tosser?
Who said "fight", I would have thought Cowes in front of all those fans would have been the ideal opportunity to show up such a splasher (thief). Not with violence but loaded, educated & experienced questions, similar to those you have asked on this forum (TO THE RIGHT PERSON) would have done the trick if u are right.
Quotes by Jon..
BTW, You didn't see a wooden plug at Chaudron, that's either a lie, or your huge 'phd capable' brain, is defective, (read, stupid) of that I am 110% sure.
Your right I did not see "a wooden plug at Chaudron" I saw 2 or 3
That was in 2004, why don't u come out in May for the P1 & see for your self?
Quotes by Jon..
You're pig ignorant, you don't wan't to see the obvious, or the truth, for you, it's purely selfish, that's what drives you, loadsa money, phd, and no more than a low-life in the morals dept! how sad! Gimme, gimme, gimme, money, money, money. me, me, me, **** anyone else, as long as I get the 'cheap' product, nothing else, and no body matters.
OK, you're absolutely right, about everything! now why don't you push off, you're clearly happy with your 'bent' washboard, we can see that, and i'm bored shitless with trying to explain stuff to an idiot who's eyes are shut to the obvious, and who bought a P25 splash, whilst Phantom were still building them, coz it was cheaper, and YOU felt some maltese asshole deserved your money, more than the legitimate designer/builder coz it saved YOU a few quid...well done!
You maybe right on some points! however when I wanted the 25
money was not the deciding factor. I wanted a small cabin up front with a bed & hatch. SB told me that I could not have this & I would have to have a boat, to his spec. This was his prerogative, & as u say he probably didn't like me, again his prerogative.
Therefore what does a reasonable customer do? he looks for a
supplier that can supply the desired product as per the spec for a reasonable price. You r right SB was building great boats at this time, however he was not in business! A businessman builds the product a customer wants for a price, ignoring all other factors with the exception of safety. Your answer to this is, the customer should take what is offered. I disagree!
In business customer loyalty is driven by customer satisfaction,
hence the 33. You say that Chaudron's build quality is sub-standard, I've spoken to all subsequent owners of my 25, including the current owner. All have been very impressed, & the current owner says other a stain on the passenger seat, the boat looks like new, with no hair line cracks in the gel on the deck or hull!
I'm not an ignorant , selfish or unintelligent pig, I am however a brash, confident boater who knows what he wants! I'm sorry!
Cheers Paul

Steve did build 25's with a cabin, tho' a more stupid boat I can't imagine!
In fact the last one he built had a cabin, and went to Germany. But you know all this, coz we've already been through it twice!
Face up to yourself for Christs sake. Last year you had this to say re: Phantom/Chaudron pricing:

I Asked SB to make me a Phantom 25 with cabin & other special specs. SB quoted (without engines or trailer) £ 11,500. Went for Chaudron 25 including cabin, gill braket, stainless fuel tank & fittings cost £5350. Much better build quality than Phantom, had 8
people dancing on nose, no cracks, not even hair line! To the uneducated & to put the record straight, Chaudron 25 is not a copy, the Phantom mould would not fit over a Chaudron boat.
Chaudron have taken a brilliantly designed (SB) boat & improved it. I got 79.4mph (on GPS) with 225 Optimax across Sarasota Bay in 5/6ft seas. Howerver in dead flat conditions 69mph max.

As for banning him Burty, i'm trying to be more tolerant of people who I find Pig ignorant, stupid and can't even remember what they themselves have previously said, a product of being a highly intelegent phd holder with a desperately in-depth understanding of hydrodynamics maybe? With all this knowledge, I can't understand why Kinfast doesn't become a consultant Naval Architect. Maybe he could design a new range of eggboxes for chaudron.
Mr Kinfast appears to have delusions of adequacy in the boat knowledge department. But that in itself isn't a crime.
I will add, that if Chaudron powerboats did indeed design, and build the plugs and tooling for their boats, as Kinfast says (and has alegedly seen said wooden tooling), why haven't they joined this forum to put things straight? I'm sure they've seen it! They could post a few pics of the design drawings and plug build? all would be sorted.
I suspect the only pics they have of their original plug, show an upturned Phantom hull, nicely waxed and ready for splashing.
Hey Ho.

I see where I've been going wrong now, although I don't agree with you.
When you say for a price, would that be "what the customer decides", cos if so how would a quality british product ever be able to compete with a third world builder from Malta, who hasn't had the expense of designing or developing the product in the first place?

The term 'third world country' applies to the culture and nature of the people - their mentality and the state of their infrustructure. It has nothing to do with them being part of the EU.

couldn't have put it better myself, although i have to say i've only been there once, but it was a god awful place. I've travelled the world, even shared a room with 6 people in Delhi, but i've never been to a place where i was so desperate to leave.. My girlfriend at the time was in tears, she hated it so much. Powercuts, crap food and thieving locals, aagh!!!!!!!!!!!

If thinking copyright theft is 'tiny mindedness', then so be it, I must have a tiny mind.

who mentioned copyright theft??? i never did go into that subject, much has been said about it already and i don't want to stir up any other arguments about it. but to say that malta has a third world culture, with crap food and thieving locals is just plain ridiculous...and by the way malta not many years back was a british colony so maybe we are still trying to get rid of the negative influence
