gotcha!!!

check the hull for repair work, there were some major stress cracks on one of the chines, I believe from an old rail that was put on during racing.... think it was to be fixed when the boat left poole few years back.

we bought maelstrom for £24k (i think!!) in 2000 and sold for £23k end 2001...
not sure what it sold for for after that

Excellent, good to know some prices.

I had a chat with another previous owner of the boat for about an hour last night (you know who you are!) lol

He gave me some things to look out for, especially the damage you mentioned.

The guy has asked me to make him an offer on the boat - no idea what its worth to be honest... so will have to talk to him more about it

?? What ya saying here?! Confusing everyone! So, you mean performance wise it was much better with petrol? I always thought the Yanmar was pretty good, I remember getting in Malestrom after a Rinker with a big block and was amazed how much better and faster the Diesel was ... how come you didn't like the diesel?

Also, its a shame the bloke who bought it off the Admiral changed the graphics as I thought they looked damn cool as they were ...

If it's still in good nic, based on what it sold for in the past, got to be worth somewhere between 17 - 20k? drop 3k in 3 years, sounds reasonable? That would be a ferkin minter for that sort of cash ...
