fletcher 19 gto, yamaha 150

was wondering if anyone could help me out, ive fitted new engine and don't know were the wires from the control go, black,red,green and yellow... on my boat harness I have grey,white,brown,purple and blue..

wel originaly I think only 4 wires on the boat were used, grey,brown,purple and blue.
im thinking on the remote
red - positive
black - earth
green - tachsignal
yellow -ignition on

From memory !
Black = Earth = White
Red. = +. =. Brown
Yellow = switched +. = Purple
Green = RPM Signal. = Grey

The Yamaha bit is correct not 100% on the boat (Merc) colours.
Why not simply fit a Yamaha control box and harness ?

yes it is a Yamaha control box and harness, its the wires to the dashboard from the control box. think il give it a go wireing it up. whats the worst what what could happen

Just rip dash wires out and start again, much easyer than joining shit

not shure if that would be a good move , they mite never work again im not the best with wires.
