formula fastech 292

Does anyone actually race formula fastech 292s in this country?

Any info would be appreciated.

I dont know about over at your place, but there are only 3 formula raceboats left over here that i know of and only 1 races which is a 385 !!!!!!

They are to damn heavy to race and the fast techs are very very unstable in thight turns at speed.

But i used to have a 292 SR-1 , GREAT BOAT !!!!!!

To me the Formulas are family cruisers in a offshore style skirt.

There were one or two in P1 and I think at least one broke - I think Martin Lai had one and the other was a European team - I saw it in Portugal a couple of years ago and it wasn't very well ...............

Not a 292 SR1. the 292 is an old boat. The build quality is unusual. (IMHO) dunno about the larger / later stepped ones.
