The Turin FPT Industrial engine plant produced the one millionth NEF engine
In 2008, BLUE FPT, an FB Design craft powered by three N60, 480 HP diesels, won the 2008 Round Britain, the longest powerboat race in the world; just a few days later, RED FPT, also an FB Design craft, powered by four N67 Evolution, 600 HP diesels, won the 2008 edition of the prestigious Cowes-Torquay-Cowes race.
In 2010, RED FPT, equipped with four N67, 600 HP diesels, confirmed itself as a winning craft, taking the U.I.M. Marathon World Cup and the Harmsworth Trophy, the oldest powerboat trophy in the world.
