Boats
Taz I don't think that you will or Steve will ever see your boat or money back from Gav.
My boat has been being made for almost a F**king year.
I have shelled out around 5.5k so far for this bloody thing and i have just about had enough of this lying F**king To$$er.
I really do not know what is best to do about it!!!
Believe me lots of things have gone through my head on how best to deal with someone who is taking the pi$$ out of me, but on fortunately that will not get my boat finished.
Also the moulds are kept at a friends warehouse so I would prefer not to involve him.
Any ideas?
Cyco

You two were members of the "Good old Gav" Fan Club earlier this year "Dont take our boats" were your words when I said I was going to make him bankrupt "Again" - get a bailif and go round to impound his moulds, boats in production, TV, Car, Hi-Fi, Furniture etc etc and all for £150

Because Steve they didnt push hard enough...
There are only three types of people who would bank role Gav and their called the "3 F's" - friends, family and f**king Idots, I wasn't a friend, am not his family and am not a f**king idiot I take it Taz and Cyco were his friends!
Hit him where it hursts him the most Lads (and im not talking his groin)
Ask yourselves these questions:
1) Did you get a written contract with him to build your boats?
2) Did you get a receipt for the money you handed over?
If the answer to the above is NO on all counts then unfortunately you come into the 3rd catogory of "F's"

Deciding not to invest in one of Gav's boats at the last moment was definately one of my better decisions.

Pash you touching us, personally im not an idiot i have a succesful business and yes maybe i thought gav was a nice bloke and put work on to him ie daren boat and some others. everone has ups and downs. The reasen gav has got my back up is because he hasnt even bothered to tell me whats happening i dont care how long it takes to get the boat as long as im informed. I want to know where i stand, cyco kept me informed what was happening and told me the boats will be built with in 6 months as his was already started!

If someone can't keep their customers informed what's happening so-long after they've handed over quite a sum of money then they really shouldn't be in business.
Because bad press created by this considerable oversight will cause the business to fail. It was bad press that killed Amstrad after all.
And if you have invested in that business, good luck seeing your money again as I feel the pot will eventually be empty.
I wasn't going to post because I thought this is non of my business but then thought; it's aired over a public forum so f**k it!

Doesn't Cyco have the Molds? He knows that you have put money into them, same as others, so surely he must be willing to let you have them to have your boat laminated up? Or is that too simple?
