Good book for building BBC?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to get back to working on the revenger after about a 4 week break due to the powerboating!

Part of this will be going over the 8.2 to check all is well, then rebuild it with the supercharger, though it'll only be running very low boost.

I'm looking to find a good book/manual or two covering what I need to know. I'm looking to know the torques etc i need for the build, and any tricks suggestions for building it as well as possible.
Needs to be generally available unlike one I'm aware of, and I'm not looking for something about building massively high performance motors, this one will be almost stock, I want reliability.

Any suggestions anyone?

James the Dennis Moore book is rated to be the bible albeit it only deals with up to gen 5.

I have a copy and the lengths the guy goes to are immense but the technical side is a good grounding in understanding what is important in marine BBC.

I see they've come down in price on Amazon so make me an offer on my well thumbed version. It's like a teenagers copy of razzle.

I've got Tom Monroe's book 'Engine Builder's Handbook' it got my extreme back together.

Thanks very much for the replies! I'm aware of the Dennis Moore book being 'the one to have' but also hard to aquire, hence my earlier remark!

I built it from google searches and the sticky on here (which has been invaluable at other times too when trying to work out head/block combos!) last time, but I'm sure there's a few little tricks in the books that would help me build a better engine!
