Greatest Offshore Racer ever?
Just been looking at some old threads and I´m going to revive one.
Who is/was the best? I´d go for someone like Bob Magoon.

Jon Clarke, Pure F*****g Entertainment, drove a Class one Cougar like a P25 mono.
and I was going to say Steve Curtis, but he is still young and still needs to win another 20 world championships to prove himself.

Cowes 1986, John Clarke says to me and Alan Gorry, "I'm going class 1 next year, gonna show all the poseurs how it's done"!!!
True to his word, he did, if that's what you call driving around with Len in a streched limo, both of them sitting in the front wearing white tracksuits!!!!!!!
Sheer "Essex class".

Well, he hasn't made history yet in two litre, but is most famous for his outstanding performance in 'T' class.
PS. he has a Mannerfelt B23.

Great post!
If only it hadn’t come from an ex Miss Fitz racer.
However bad Essex is looked upon, you guys did your best to promote Greenford in those days.

I like to think that for a few months of the year, we put Greenford on the map!
