Give it a shit load of trim, then give it some more, it's where the max speed can be found.

Tony, did you go to Alderney, I saw your boat was in when I went out. I was expecting good weather saturday but it was really cold. I was out there with ski goggles, ski hat and ski jacket, nothing fancy like your matching all in black survival suits.
Andy, good luck with the island trip, I'm off to Jersey (hopefully) I've never had a successful Jersey trip and hoping tomorrows the day.
I have launched and recovered a few times at perelle and found the west coast a b#tch. Always found it hard to navigate while paying attention to driving. And looking out to sea is misleading. Can look calm as hell but kill you when you get round there. Have you done this trip before?
The furthest I ever went in the ring21 was alderney. Had a couple of great trips there playing with the Atlantic swell. South of Alderney there is massive gannet colony, get too close and they start to circle, worth a look though.

Jersey ai?? Wanted to do Jersey last weekend but forgot to fill up with fuel/oil... gutted!
Haven't got round to the west coast in the ring yet, my dads boat is moored in Rocquaine so the rocks from there to town are no problem... never past lihou though!
What time are you thinking of heading to Jersey then? Would you mind a tag along? Really want to head over there, but don't want to be on my own the first time!

YOU DON'T HAVE SURVIVAL SUITS? BUT YOU'VE GOT A RIB!!!!
I'm not quite sure what time we're going out today. Was really hoping the wind will drop. Isn't that nice out today and I get the feeling Jerseys out, thought there was a good chance of it being nice this weekend.
Will go for a blast though. Probably make it down from 12-2, may go for lunch somewhere.

Certainly was crap out there! Had a half hour blast but was pretty miserable... thought about going to Herm for a nice hot cup of tea (seemed like the right drink for the weather) but gave up half way...
Hit 35 knots then launched off a wave... that part was fun!
What a gay weekends weather!!
Did you make it out at all today Richard?

Yer I made it out but late in the day, about 5-530. just bombed it down to jerbourg then back, hit some quite big wake at a bad angle but the boat seems to cope well, better than me.
Then went just north of brehon tower, very bumpy up there, boat was jumping from crest to crest, landing a bit hard but I've got to get used to it.
Once we had enough of that went in the direction of herm and turned round at vermaret becon and cruised back home.
Weren't out long, maybe 20 minutes.
It did look quite flat until I went out.
Hope next weekend's better. I've got to get my run to Jersey as some point.
