My opinion

As Russ says,I drove the new Marshan 21 on Saturday, and was very impressed with it.having pottered out the Hamble river and into Southampton water I opened it up,although it was a bit sluggish out of the hole it soon got on the plane a we were of.the boat seemed to handle the usual popple in sw with ease.so into true andymac style I trimmed it out and went flat out, heading for the wake from the red jet ferry.i have to say it handled this with ease, and felt solid.i think this is due to the way the deck is bonded to the hull(monococ I'm told)the boat is rigged to a high standard and a pleasure to be in.although I feel it could do with at least 200hp it still seemed to be trucking on well.Anyone looking to buy a new 21ish footer would not go far wrong to consider one of these boats.Welldone to all those involved in resurrecting this classic British powerboat and bringing it into the 21st century. Performance data will be available in the next couple of weeks after some more testing and fiddling. Our target speed for this boat in this spec with the 150 was 65 mph we are v close just a few tweaks needed. Bearing in mind this boat is not built to a race spec she's more of a fast day boat that won't leave you needing a kidney transplant

Cheers Andy and Russ. Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated.

Having driven back from Southampton to Lymington on Sunday afternoon in the Marshan, amid freeky solent peaks, troughs, etc i can vouch for the comfort, at 6ft 2 bit like AndyMac, those corbeau seats are fantastic, worth every penny! Ian (Tigger) close behind in the Voodoo gtx boat which given the conditions took it with ease! Get boating!!!!!

Hi Pete and Rich and Tigger when is the race version going to be built ?
You have two Andys that can drive like the wind I am sure both of them are gagging to put Andy Macs engine on the ass end and really see what that sexy looking boat can do ,fellas its got to be on the cards surely.
