Do we have to go that slow?
is that 85 miles total or just 1 way?

If you would rather go from nearer home I will be going from Salcombe to the Channel Islands - Drivers for the party and then return on the Sunday - Assuming the whole thing doesn't clash with a race weekend and I'm not washing whats left of my hair etc!

Sorry! excuse my paraphrasing
200xs........come on, you know its gonna perform like my old dellquey dory!
Jonny/rude - are they really THAT bad, or is it just a case of the uncertain back-up
Promax 225 or 3.0L Merc - simplist ooption, if only something half-decent and under 10 years old excisted here.
If the latest Etec is only £7500, wheres all the fantastic deals i should be being offered on NOS conventional V6's??

Cheers dude but is salcombe much closer to the channel islands than poole? plus we would then have to drive our boats from poole back to salcombe, which is probably further in all wouldn't it be easier to just trailer it too poole and go with every1 else?

Getting back on topic lads, why not have a trip to St Vaast, just round the coast from Cherbourg? Fantastic food and drink and a great blast from the Solent. We came back in just over two and a half hours last May averaging approx 40 knts.

Looks good Tony. When we did the trip we did Aldeny (underwhelming place) to Cherbourg (VERY big seas northwest of Cape de la Hague ) then on to St Vaast. Next time I would recommend going to France in one hit.

Petrol is cheaper in Alderney, and you keep the money within the British Isles.

I just hate towing and I thought Salcombe would be closer by road to you - it's just another option thats all ............
