A good one, 82mph
Rock steady upper 70's in race trim.
Awsome, except in a following sea!

Buy a cat similar to blufin has.
If you rig it right you can be quick in the calm, and get through the rough.
To run a p21 - and win - you have to be experienced and very good.
If I had the money, I would love to race blufin's Midas Cat in 3C

Must say though, I'm not keen on the inline seating arrangment.. My suicide seat mans not keen on the setup either, much keener on the Phantom layout, but would really appreciate any thoughts or facts on Phantom 21 vs BAT 21.. Thanks in advance.

PM blufin on here - he maybe up for a sale?
I think 3 to 4 of those boats were built, pretty sure that one of the owners has just gone down for a 5 year stretch-

B23 every time. The P21 will only do well in the very rough, in the right hands.
Dave Sperling sold his cat years ago. I think his became 'Tub Humping', Cliff Smiffs one.

Our 950kg Rib was faster in the flat and could usually win in the rough as well, but got beat in the flat by the bat boats and cats as well.
My choice would be a Batboat (not a Backdraft unless you want to go 1.3) or a Cat.
By the way we made the anti stuff nose for the bow of the P21 to make it legal(ish)
